Flume Cilinder
The Plasticentrum helped to create a practical model to study the effects of bioturbation on sediment resuspension.
In this research the effect of moving organisms on consolidation of sediment is studied. (This means the impact of organisms on the release of gasses and liquids from squeezed together rock and ground)
Part of this research contained a practical model, this was named the flume cilinder and is displayed in the image below.
